A busy week at BT BizBox
Hi,
What a busy week we have had at BT BizBox:)
I am delighted to say we have busy building new functionality for you. Currently we are in process of testing and we are aiming to roll it to live over the weekend.
The reports have now been completed with the added capability of downloading in pdf format. So, you will be able to run reports for;
1. Number quotes raised over a period of time.
2. % conversion rate of quotes to invoices.
3. Number of invoices paid and outstanding.
4. Number of tasks raised by user.
5. Outstanding tasks per user.
6. Number of tasks closed per user.
In addition to the reporting functionality we are also planning on rolling to live the new exciting route optimisation tool.
This tool has been built this week and even though I say it myself, it’s a great addition to the BT BizBox functionality
I’ll update you on our testing and the planned times for the rollouts over the weekend.

Route Optimisation tool
Hi All,
One of the first developments in phase one of our committed roadmap will be rolling to live this week, route optimisation with links into googlemaps.
So what is the route optimisation tool……..?
The route optimisation tool will allow you to calculate the best route for your journey. By entering postcodes of your starting and finishing location, the tool will provide you with the best and shortest route within seconds. It also provides you with a googlemap of your journey.
This tool is great for all you traveling salespeople, no more indecisiveness on which is the quickest way
You can also share it with others in your team, those who you are meeting up with, or for information on your location at certain times during the day, for those back in the office.
We should have some screen shots in a couple of days, which I will post for you all to see.

Additional reports
Hi,
Following on from my posting on Saturday, our developers at BT BizBox have been busy finishing the remainder of the initial reports in the new reporting suite and I have a sneak preview for you:)
We are still working on the final look and feel for the reports however, I wanted to give a view of the functionality that is coming your way.
Firstly a screenshot of the report showing closed tasks per user.
Secondly the report showing outstanding tasks per user
While we continue to work on the reporting suite we are also starting to build the additional functionality announced in our roadmap last week.
Later in the week I should be in a position to update on where we are with route optimisation, one of the first rollouts we have planned.

Preview of the new reporting suite
Hi all,
As you may have seen this week, one of our first deliverables on our BT BizBox roadmap is the new reporting suite.
To keep you up to speed with the developments, I have attached a couple of screen shots to show you what we have planned.
We have initially focused on the invoicing and quotation tool providing you with reports on how many quotes provided over time, and then the conversion rate of quotes to invoices. The other area we have looked at is the number of tasks assigned to each end users.
The first screenshot shows you the proposed reporting for quotes over time.
The second screenhot shows the reporting for tasks raised over time.
We will be increasing the type of reports over the coming weeks.

BT BizBox Roadmap
Hi All,
With the new look and feel now launched we have produced the proposed BT BizBox roadmap for the next 3 months. As always it has been based on your requirements and functionality we at BT BizBox think your business would benefit from in a CRM solution to stay ahead of your competition.
So, what do we have planned for a December and January launch?
- New reporting suite, fusioncharts and pdfs with a visual dashboard
- New secure signup process - which will move away from the need to have confirmation emails separate to password emails
- Route optimisation with Google Maps & Directions for the traveling salesman
- An improved end user permissions system for your company administrator
- Ability to email your customers from within the BT BizBox application and attached a note to their records
- An alerting system using either email, popups and or SMS for tasks, meetings etc…
- Creation of an important information module, which will allow you to keep track on all those important tasks that get left to the last minute year on year i.e. car insurance, company insurance, company registration commitments etc…
- Implementation of a document creation tool for invoices, confirmation letters etc… an integrated document management tool
- Implementation of BT’s Web21 conference call capability from within the customer, employee and address book modules
- Improvements to the financial module.
These are items which, we are committing to develop however there are some additional items we are considering if there is demand for them…
- Synchronization with Outlook / Excel
- Desktop Widgets
- SMS Alerting
- Integration with IM
- More mashups (eg. Mapping, data aggregation, directory services etc)
We would be keen to seek your feedback on these last few to understand the demand.
The first item on the roadmap, the new report suite, is currently in the final stages of build so I should be in a position to give you a sneak preview of the screen shots over the next day or so.

New Look and Feel is live :)

Thanks to all the hard work from Alex and Matt in the BT BizBox team, we have gone live today with the new look and feel, exciting stuff
I love the new look and can’t wait to hear what you think.
It has been developed with feedback from you the users and is clear and simple to use.

How are we progressing?
Hi,
A quick update for you, this week we have continued to test and make improvements to the new look and feel along with addressing the bugs and issues you have raised via our forum
We have also been working on plans for the new reporting functionality, we are hoping to be able to share with you next week a preview of the first reports which we will be launching.
Once we have rolled out the new reports we will be continuing to develop the rest of the financial specification.
We also have some new functionality, that will benefit all you traveling salespeople out there using BT BizBox. I’ll provide you with some more information on this next week, it’s exciting stuff

Today’s update
Hi,
Today has been extremely busy, we are continuing to test the new pages, fix bugs and improve the end user journey.
After a review, we have decided to extend the testing period for the next couple of days. We will look to rollout the new pages at the end of the week, sorry for any inconvenience caused, trust me they are worth the wait:)

Quick update
Hi,
Things are going well with the new look and feel. Instead of rolling out to live the new pages tonight we are going to continue testing during the day tomorrow. We will look to roll out the new look and feel tomorrow night out of hours.

New look and feel
Hi,
Matt has been working hard this week on the rest of the designs for the new pages.
We are continuing to test over the weekend and plan to roll out the first phase of the new pages on Sunday.
Below are a couple of examples for you to review.
1. The new look employee pages, the tabs across the top will remain consistent to the module the further you delve into your employees details, with the introduction of new drop down menus.
2. The new look customer pages, once again the tabs remain consistent the further you delve into your customers details, onces again with the addition of new drop down menus.
3. The new look add a new contact page, with the ability to add either an individual or company contact.
