What are we upto this week?

I have already provided you with an update on where we are with finalising the financial specification this week, however we are also carrying out a rollout tonight to provide you with some additional functionality and improvements.

During the early hours of the morning we will be doing a rollout to fix to a couple of bugs which, have been highlighted to us via email, we will be improving the dashboard and also adding geocode data functionality.

In October we are hoping to have the user interface of BT BizBox revamped, however in the meantime we are going to rollout an interim dashboard, it will provide you with a cleaner view and will be easier to use.

We are also providing you with the ability to upload customer information to the application and addressing a number of other minor issues, which will assist with the work flow of BT BizBox.

In addition we will be rolling the ability to have geocode data on postcodes. This functionality is great - it will provide you with a greater level of detail about the locations of your customer, contacts etc. If you are going to visit your customers it will show you what the weather is like there and will give you a map and the directions so you don’t get lost :)

By having this functionality built into BT BizBox it will allow us in the future to add the ability to see which of your customers are nearest you in order for you to plan your journeys, visits and marketing campaigns etc.
