New developments

We constantly update our application. The latest addition is the company wide dashboard.

The dashboard is great for busy managers who need to see at a glance an operational view across the company. The dashboard also allows end users to review scheduled meetings, tasks, notes and store Internet bookmarks, which increases knowledge sharing across the business.

We have also made improvements to our calendar, it is a simple solution and provides an integrated tasklist and meeting planner, here it is…..

Customer management
Our tools allow you to manage your customers, the screen shots below shows what information is captured on the application for each of your customers. Wherever you are you can call up your customers details provided you have access to the internet.

Functionality in the application allows you to click and call the customer, the tool also keeps a record of the call you made with your customer.

You can also send SMS messages to your customers, do you need to check whether a meeting is still on for the next day and you know your contact is unavailable, then this functionality is ideal. It also also keeps a record of the messages sent so anyone in the company can see the interaction that has occurred with the customer to avoid any duplication.

Documentation management

“Business in a box” provides free storage allowing you to store those important documents and giving you access to them from any where in the world provided you have internet access.

You can upload documents and set their permissions to public or private - thereby limiting who can see them.

Our development methodology

We don’t build BIG complicated applications which requires a guy with a PhD in Astrophysics to operate. We don’t build applications which are going to compete with the Microsoft’s of the world. We want our applications to complement them.

So, we build simple tools which hang together in a simple way.

We think - If our parents can use our software we have it cracked :-)

We also don’t take an age to release new updates (major or minor). We release early (its always in BETA), we release often (We update the code at least once a week) and we fail fast (if we get negative feedback about a function we roll it back and try something else).

Simple!

After all, we use our software to run our business too - so it needs to work otherwise we’d lose business as well.

Hopefully, over the coming weeks and months we will show you some of the exciting things we are building to make the small business owner (like us) more effective and efficient.
